A good flame resistant clothing layering idea for the 14 ounce sweatshirt is a flame resistant vest – it won’t add bulk to the arms allowing you freedom for movement. 14 ounce fleece sweatshirt with lining: The 14 ounce sweatshirt with lining is one of the greatest FR sweatshirts on the market. It is warmer, heavier and very durable. It is made with a waffle weave lining that is soft and comfortable. Because of the thickness and strength of the garment, it holds up excellent in the wash. A nice feature of this sweatshirt is the option of a zip front sweatshirt or a pullover hoodie. NSA’s C21IFWE_ _03 is a very popular 14 ounce sweatshirt with lining.
Nomex Polar fleece sweatshirt: This sweatshirt is the warmest of them all and extremely comfortable. It is very light weight so if you need maximum warmth without all the thickness this is the fleece you need. A good Nomex polar fleece is the C23FL by National Safety Apparel.
