Printer Cartridges – Boring but essential!

Printer ink cartidges are one of the many things that we don’t generally consider to be a requirement when it comes to doing “the big shop” but in actual fact they are an important part of our modern every day life.

Although essential to getting certain jobs done, whether it be from getting the c.v.printed to printing holiday pictures , everyone hates spending money on printer ink regardless of the job. This is the most important reason that shopping around for the most suitable inkjet or toner supplier for you can save you not only ££££’s but a lot of time.

There are many ways to buy inkjet and toner cartridges from picking them up at your local supermarket during the weekly shop, to going to a specialist shop , to purchasing them online. I would suggest that the online purchase is probably the simplest and cheapest way. Although it may seem just as easy to pick them up at the supermarket you will at least have to remember to take a note of your printer type before you leave home (and if your anything similar to me this will never be the case and your printing will be left for another week ) and also they can often be picked up cheaper online.

Why should we waste so much of our precious time on something that we take for granted until we see that “your ink has depleted” sign appear on your monitor?

Although shopping for ink online is fast, easy and efficient, as with purchasing any product it can often be hard to find the suitable supplier. The simplest way to begin is to enter either your printer model or toner cartridge or inkjet cartridge number into a search engine, once you find what your looking for the best thing to do is to set up an account using your e-mail address and memorable password. Most good suppliers will have a facility for you to log in and see any previous purchases that you have made and an option for you to reorder, which will make it easy for you placing any future orders while you have the same printer.

When you initially look for for a list of suppliers it is usually a good idea to compare prices between a few before settling on who to buy from, as internet supplier prices will differ dependening on what manufacturers they have access to.

It is a good idea to look in to buying remanufactured cartridges as a substitute to the original oem product. Not only will this save you a lot of money but you will also be helping to stop these empty cartridges going to landfill and in turn cutting down the planets carbon footprint . Many businesses that supply these remanufactured cartridges offer recycling schemes where you can send empty cartridges back to them for free, and what a lot of people don’t realise is that these used cartridges are actually worth money! Suppliers will frequently buy these empties along with any unused/out of date cartridges back either for cash or credit on your account.

Total bonus! Not only has doing a little research online helped you save money it has also earned you money back!
