Fleece Medical Scrubs

Amazingly toasty and fluffy, polyester fleece medical scrubs manufactured by medical scrubs company Sassy Scrubs have been amazingly popular with nursing and other professionals who work in frosty temp areas, or who reside where winter weather is frigid.  Toasty, yet non-restrictive, and virtually impervious to most stains, polyester fleece has become a well-known sought after fabric for frost fighting scrubs jackets and even scrubs pants.

Everyone who has ever chosen fleece for any garment is fast converted to be a fleece lover, but where did this ground breaking fabric originate?  Interestingly, fleece was first developed mainly for extraordinary frosty conditions encountered in mountain climbs and polar expeditions. The material was developed totally from 100% polyester over two decades ago.  During the next decade, the marvelously warm material was discovered by more winter sports enthusiasts.  Fleece became popular with ski athletes and winter athletes as a light weight, warm layer to protect from the extreme bitter cold.

The status and popularity of fleece soared in the early 90′s when the general public became aware of the warm, fuzzy fabric and began requesting fleece outerwear in fresh, new colors and innovative patterns.  Today’s fleece is currently finding unique niches, namely in medical apparel, as created by Sassy Scrubs.  Nurse and medical professionals have discovered that the versatility of warm fleece medical scrubs spreads their utility beyond the Operating Room; beyond the ski slopes; and beyond cuddlesome leisure wear.  Fleece medical scrubs can span work and social environments to be welcome in virtually any situation where warmth and comfort are desired.
